March 2017 – petrol prices unchanged, except for diesel

With fuel prices soaring skyhigh from month after month, it’s reasonable enough to assume most of us are exasperated with rising fuel costs plaguing motorists. At every month, there’s a small glimmer of hope that those loathed numbers fall – yet another month of disappointment looms if it winds up the other way around. So for us Malaysians; what’s it going to be for March 2017?

Turns out there’s an increase again. Petrol prices remain unchanged from February, but diesel owners will pay an additional 5 sen per litre. Diesel now costs RM2.20 per litre whereas its Euro 5 variant is now at RM2.30 per litre.

The new prices for March 2017 are below:

RON 95 @ RM2.30 per litre
 97 @ RM2.60 per litre
 @ RM2.20 per litre
 (Euro 5) @ RM2.30 per litre
