September 2016 – petrol down 5 sen, diesel unchanged

It’s been 59 years since the country was given its rightful independence, and it’s no surprise most of us will be out about and driving on Merdeka Day.

This September, motorists will enjoy some respite as RON95 and RON97 prices will be down 5 sen to RM1.70 per liter and RM2.05 per liter respectively; although diesel prices will remain unchanged. As for premium fuels, Petron’s Blaze RON 100 will not see the same decrease in the same vein, and interestingly enough – Shell’s V-Power Racing will be increased by 5 sen for this month.

The prices of fuel are listed below:

RON 95 @ RM1.70 per litre
 97 @ RM2.05 per litre
 @ RM1.70 per litre
 (Euro 5) @ RM1.80 per litre
 RON 100 @ RM2.70 per litre
V-Power Racing @ RM2.60 per litre

Below is a historical chart of fuel prices for 2016:
