Well, this is going to feel weird, but for those of you who have been checking in on us from time to know, you’ll noticed that we’ve been stagnant for some time. But now that you’re back, you may have noticed some things have changed — and changed we have, in some significant ways.
From the back end of this site, we have completed a major migration, not just in terms of server location but also in terms of look-feel and, most important, security. Having said that, as most migrations go, this was not the smoothest — and in the process, we have lost most of our previous posts. Perhaps “lost” is a less correct term; since these still exist. They simply need to be manually reconciled. Given that we’ve been online for close to five years, the effort, which spans several hundred posts, is gargantuan.
And so we had to make the decision to forge ahead, dropping most of the news which we’ve published, choosing instead to work on restoration of all the reviews, opinions, and nitty-gritty posts. But this will take some time, so we hope you bear with us. In the meantime, I’m happy to announce that we’re back and hopefully better than ever.
What else is new? Well, we’re seriously considering exploring new content types for the site, beyond just cars. More to come in the following weeks, hopefully!
Thank you for staying tuned to us, through this time. We hope you like the changes we’ve implemented site-wide and are always open to feedback — if you need to reach out to us, you’re welcome to leave a comment or via the contact form.
Stay safe and stay sane.
